
Choquequirao
CHOQUEQUIRAO is situated in the spurs of the mountain range of Salkantay, at 3035 masl surrounded by snow capeted Apus of Yanama, Ampay, Choquetacarpu and Pumasillo on the right side of Apurimac river in the Santa Teresa district, the Convention province of Cusco. Choquequirao is a Inca town formed by small sites spread out in rubblework that in its adjoining constructs a complex metropolis similar to those of the other regions placed on the crest of the hill by the some name of Choquequirao.
Day 1

Choquequirao
Leave from Cusco at o’clock in the morning by bus arriving at Cachora town approximately at 8:00 am in the morning where we will have a walk, after we arrange the equipment on mules and horses. From this place we can observe the Majestic Padreyoq snow-covered peak 5,482 masl the hike on this first day is 17.50 Km. 3 hours flat from Cachora to Mirador Capuliyoq and 3 hours downhill until camp site 2030 masl.
Day 2
After the breakfast we will continue walk down to Playa Rosalina after we will climb 4 hours in a very steep way until Maranpata. This day we may be lucky to appreciate the fly of the Condors, the exuberant vegetation and its variety of flowers and orchids. Our camp site its situated in the high of the mountain with spectacular views.
Day 3

Choquequirao
We will depart early and 2 hours after we will arrive to Archaeological place of Choquequirao we will camp here all day to enjoy that majestic place, we will observe three levels of the excavated ruins, we will appreciate houses, terraces and other part of this Inca town (depend of the weather we observe the fly of the Condors).
Day 4
After an early breakfast we pack and start walking back to Chiquisqa, on the way we can observe again Apurimac canyon. Here we may be lucky to appreciate the fly of the Condors, the exuberant vegetation and its variety of flowers and orchids.
Day 5
Early in the morning after breakfast we continue to climbing 4 hours more approximately until Mirador Capuliyoq after we will continue to arrive to Cachora town on hike we can appreciate again the majestic Padreyoq snow that decorate the Apurimac Canyon.
